Sales Engineer – Valves & Actuators

Job Summary: 

Seeking a motivated and technically proficient Sales Engineer with 4-5 years of experience in the industrial valves sector for new customer acquisition ,

the ideal candidate will be a key player in achieving sales targets, managing client relationships, and providing optimal valve solutions for customer applications. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development & Sales: Prospect , Develop , Retain , expand by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with end-users, EPC contractors, and OEMs.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, acting as a trusted technical advisor throughout the entire sales cycle.
  • Presentations & Demonstrations: to customers and target audience across industrial segments to explain product features and benefits.
  • Market & Competitor Data: Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing.
  • Coordination: Coordinate closely with internal engineering, production, and service teams to ensure smooth order execution, delivery schedules, and post-sales support.
  • Sales Back Office : Maintain accurate customer data, sales forecasts, and reports. 

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: BE / Diploma in Mechanical or Instrumentation Engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4-5 years of proven experience in technical sales, specifically within the industrial valves or related mechanical products industry.
  • Technical Knowledge: Good technical knowledge of various types of industrial valves and the ability to interpret technical drawings.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
