• Overall responsibility for Procurement and Cost Estimating activities of all Mechanical bough-out items like valves, pumps, standard & nonstandard fittings, hoses, agitators, scissor lift, Power pack factory consumables, hardware’s etc.
• Develop expertise in Mechanical & Electro-mechanical bough-out items for cost effective, on time purchase at competitive rates for uninterrupted operations. Initiate and develop creative and innovative procurement processes
• Achieve on time delivery (OTD) as per Production need. & ensure receipt of material within required time w.r.t. Material Shortage Report (MSR).
• Planning and forecasting of material with high lead time and their stock at supplier end.
• Ensuring JIT delivery for high value items.
• Take proactive actions by Maintaining and Reviewing MIS.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key vendors.
