• Should be able to review GA Drawing and detailed fabrication drawings using 2D AUTOCAD.
• Should be able to design Pressure vessels (external and Internal pressure) and components including shell, dish ends jackets, limpet coils, Leg supports, Lug supports, Skirt or saddle supports, lifting lugs/ trunnions as per ASME Sec VIII and other international standards.
• Should be able to prepare and review detailed Bill of materials from the drawings.
• Knowledge of Piping software and Preparation of isometric piping drawings and P&IDs (Process and instrument diagrams) is added advantage.
• Should be conversant with design calculations for wind loads, seismic loads for design of large vessels.
• Coordinate with external design agencies to provide the design data and to review and approve the work carried out by them for critical areas like Thermal stress analysis, wind load calculations and seismic load calculations, FEA etc.
Work Experience Requirements:
• Must have designed various types of pressure vessels / equipment
• Working experience in Stainless steel equipment manufacturing industry
• Working experience in ERP system
