2.     Technical evaluation of vendor quotes 

3.     Discussing technical part related with internal and external stake holders 

4.     TBA during the pre – bid evaluation & during execution of the project 

5.     Selection of the right grade of material for designing and manufacturing 

6.     In depth knowledge of the codes for designing, material grade selection, mechanical calculations, quality documents based on the project specifications 

7.     Well versed & relevant experience in pressure vessel codes:  ASME Sec VIII Div1/2, EN13445,EN13480,  AD 2000, PED requirements, ASME B 31.3, ASME B 31.1 ,API, IBR 

8.     Well versed with pressure design software’s. Engineering experience in designing pressure vessels, components would be an added advantage 

9.     Experience in execution/ supply chain, vendors involved in execution of pressure vessels 

10.  Experience in quality aspects, NDT, pressure testing, surface treatment etc. of critical pressure equipment 

11.  Good knowledge of welding processes, especially for pressure equipment’s 

12.  Replying to TQs from clients / vendors

 13.  Support costing at the pre – order stage and during post order stage
