Job Title: Electrical Engineer (Design / Project / Troubleshooting)

Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with expertise in design, project management, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in electrical engineering, particularly in electrical panel selection, construction, motor starters, VFD, and troubleshooting in various applications. This position requires proficiency in AutoCAD, electrical motor control schemes, and documentation, along with the ability to manage and coordinate projects.

Design Aspects:

• Electrical AutoCAD Drafting: Proficiency in electrical AutoCAD drafting is mandatory.
• Electrical Panel Selection and Construction: Knowledge and experience in electrical panel selection and construction.
• Electrical Switchgear: Experience with electrical switchgear selection, up to 11KV.
• Motor Starter Selection & Troubleshooting: Experience in selecting electrical motor starters and troubleshooting.
• VFD (Variable Frequency Drive): Selection and knowledge on various VFD applications.
• Cable Selection: Knowledge and skill in selecting cables for various ranges.

Project Aspects:

• Experience with electrical panels, particularly those rated at 2500KW @ 415V with various applications.
• Experience with electrical motors, starters, and control wiring schemes for motors rated at a minimum of 100KW.
• Expertise in validating electrical schemes and single-line diagrams (SLD).
• Experience in electrical earthing system selection and implementation.
• Proficiency in electrical project documentation and coordination with various departments to ensure project completion.
• Proven leadership skills to handle project teams and manage engineering projects effectively.

Troubleshooting:

• Experience in troubleshooting motor applications, electrical switchgear, and cables.
• Knowledge of troubleshooting VFDs and soft starters.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Education Qualification:
  • Graduate Engineer in a relevant discipline (e.g., Electrical Engineering).
  • Alternatively, a Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and electrical design software.
  • Experience with electrical panels, motors, starters, switchgears, and cables.
  • Strong troubleshooting capabilities in electrical systems, including motors, switchgears, VFDs, and control wiring.
• Leadership & Coordination Skills:
  • Ability to lead and manage teams for project execution.
  • Experience in project documentation and coordinating between departments.
• Years of Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on design, project handling, and troubleshooting.
• Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
