Mechanical engineer with Design engineering background from Manufacturing, Sheet metal, Oil and Gas, Pressure Vessels, Tanks, Refinery, Chemical Industry

 | Main accountabilities and tasks  

Guide PDEs / team members regarding the design inputs received (Sales Order Specification, Project Handover Checklist, Data Sheets, Process Hydraulics) and applicable project specifications. 

Study the handover documents and prepare the engineering Project Plan, design notes and inform the Project Manager to arrange for Design Review (if applicable). 

Give inputs and guide team members / PDEs for preparation of General Arrangement, Weld Attachment, Detailed Drawings, PDR and raw material weight estimation of column internals, trays, packings, separators, static mixers etc. 

Check all drawings and calculations prepared by team members / PDEs as per Office Lean and using applicable checklists. 

Co-ordinate with PM for drawing approvals from customer.

 Conduct weekly review meetings with team members to review the progress of the engineering project work. 

Implement the learnings of training programs attended in daily work and projects and train team members as and when needed.
